Dr. Antonio Lopes
Dr. Lopes is a general adult psychiatrist with 22 years of experience in diagnosing and treating mental illnesses ranging from depression, bipolar affective disorder, dementia, substance misuse, psychotic illnesses, ADHD, and personality disorders.
He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist both within the NHS and private sector, with experience in inpatient and community outpatient settings.
Rehabilitation of his patients is what he is passionate about, focusing on their regaining functioning as much as symptom control.
He has taught medical students at Imperial College, London; and is a trainer recognised by the General Medical Council.
Evidenced-based medicine forms the core of his clinical practice and has published in peer reviewed journals, to this effect.
Savio has 20 years experience of project delivery on government programmes.
He has worked across Europe, Africa, Asia and the United States on critical systems and brings a wealth of experience in terms of compliance, process flows, finance, human capital management as well as being able to lead diverse teams.
He prides himself on seamlessly bridging people and processes whilst maintaining an atmosphere conducive to personal growth and conviviality
Savio holds a Master of Science degree from Oxford University.
